Cd rom problem

my cd rom plays dvd fine but doesnt play any cds.

there are different lens for reading cds and dvs, so it is a high possibility that ur cd lens has been covers by dust particles wich is causing this problem to u, so,
SOLUTION: is to get a CD lens cleaner, Philips costs Rs.110/- and u can get it for ur optical drive..
