Cannot Copy [filename] Path Too Deep

hi,
i cannot copy my file from my hdd to pen drive it shows error \

CANNOT COPY [FILENAME] PATH TOO DEEP

but when i copy data to memeory card using card reader no such error is shown
please help me out
