Can the Chats in WatsApp be transferred to another Phone?

Hi All, didn't know where to post this query so thought thus is the apt place. I've Motorola RIX 2 in whimchats with my friends are stored. Now I wanna transfer all these chats to S III. So can I do this? I've already synced my ATRIX 2 to my mail id.
Also I use an app called Som Note to save some important notes. Can I transfer those notes from ATRIX 2 to S III?

If anyone has any idea hw to do it then please do lemme know. It'll be of a great help to me. Thanks in advance!!

if i am not wrong whats app chat can be exported to mail

You can transfer your old whatsapp chat easily,just copy the whatsapp folder from your old phone and paste it in your S3,and just login through the same no. in whatsapp, in few mins your all conversations will be restored.
