BXR 1221 - Altec Lansing

I am planning to buy BXR 1221 - Altec Lansing 2.1 from a shop in Kolkata.
Please guide me what are the price ranges in kolkata Chandni.

Also please let me know the review comments on the same if it is a good buy and value for money.

I don't know about kolkata. I bought it in SP road, Bangalore for 1K.

Although the quality isn't top notch, its good VFM if you are looking for a entry level 2.1 speakers

I bought last week for 1k incl tax at sp road bangalore

quality is gud for that money but i was not impressed with max volume
But the fact is that I never play audio at max volume (my land lord will send me off )

Overall it is a VFM ..

What about the Bass depth? if it is running in medium vol.. the over all feel of compactness is there ??
