i am planing to buy a laptop within next 10 days ill be using the laptop for gaming, surfing, movies

HP performs 40-50% better in games and much cheaper. Dell has a much better screen (1080p) and sound.

HD6770M performs better than a 540m
no use buying dell as they have a option of 2 gpu and both suck

Try to search for Asus g53sw with gtx 460m,full hd display.....it's hard to get but i believe it's available.Currently I'm also searching for it,till now no luck:sad:.
It's price around 72k i guess.

The nvidia GT540m is Wayy weaker than the ATIs 6770m.It cannot play the current games at native resolution i.e 1366x768 at ultra settings whereas 6770m does it with ease.So The 6770m is more of a futeproof card for laptops in india at the native resolution of 1366x768 at least for 2 more years.

SMC international has the full HD model for 72K. I got that quote from a friend of mine for hd model. Will check with him and let you know about it.
