Well, u can go in for DELL brand of lappys, adn get a DELL XPS 1530 lappy
else u can go in for a HP's DV series of lappys or SONY Vaio..
But i wud recommend u to go for DELL (no specific reason as compared to HP or SONY) but jus that the DELL lappys hv a LOOKs-TO-KILL kind of factor to it..
also, since u mentioned tat u need it for a"lil'bit of gaming" so DELL XPS 1530 with a 8xxx series of gpu wud be jus right for u..
