buying laptop- is sony vaio good?

Hey guys, im gonna buy a laptop in october. i finally zeroed in on the sony vaio VPCEA36FG/B. Now what i wanted to know was how is sony vaio in terms of performance, stability. I have heard of problems related to overheating occuring in vaio. Is it true? Another question is that since i will be using this laptop for atleast the next 5 years, is sony's service good? I had dell in mind but i liked this laptop's config, so am thinking of going for this. Please help.

and also please tell me if lenovo's Y560 59-051028 is better than vaio's VPCEA36FG/B.

im planning to buy laptop nxt week so saw thru some thread and got some pros and cons and even considered going to ACER but my frnd already has it is facing some probs with that, im littl skeptile abt it soo here i customised one HP
