Yes CX400 can handle 5750.

Price of Sapphire 5750 1GB @6.2k and Sapphire 5770 1GB @7.2k.

But if you buy after a month or so, try and save up more and get the Sapphire 6850 1GB @9.5k currently. By that time its price will drop even more.

there is no point in going for a first generation Core i3-540 processor (2 cores). AMD Athlon II X4 640 (4 cores) is better than it.

either splash more mone to get a sandy bridge 2nd core i3/i5 processor or get this:

amd athlon II X4 640 @ 4.5k
gigabyte 880gm-ud2h @ 4k (much better builtin graphics than first gen core i3-540)
2*2gb 1333mhz ddr3 kingston ram @ 2.2k
corsair cx400 @ 2.4k (try finding cx400 as it is better than 430. cx430 is overrated..it is actually 380w)
cm elite 310 @ 1.5k
seagate 500gb 7200rpm @ 1.7k

...

i would rather suggest this

core i3-2100 @ 6.2k
intel dh67bl @ 5.5k (with B3 revision stepping)
2*2gb ddr3 kingston ram @ 2.2k
corsair cx400 @ 2.4k
cm elite @ 1.5k
seagate 500gb 8200rpm @ 1.7k

and then add a GPU like hd 5770 @ 7.5k to both the configs.

^^its better in multitasking too
you wont regret it
and you can always add a graphic card later to boost game's performance and eye candy features

oh i see but is athlon llx4 645 is better in gaming than i3 and i will buy a 5750 later
Again it depends which "i3" you are talking about. You always have to be specific.

I'd prefer Athlon II X4 640/5 over Core i3-530/540 because X4 is a quad core and more games are going to be multi-threaded and hence utilize all the cores in coming days. Although old not heavily multi-threaded games are going to be faster in Core i3-530/540. But if you like to do rendering/video encoding etc., X4 640/645 will be again better due to more cores. Having said this, your gaming performance will depend more upon your Graphic card's performance.

Having said that, for me at the moment it makes sense to go for second generation Core i3-2100 or i5-2400 considering it uses a new socket which is going to be supported by Intel for the time being and outperforms both the above processors.

Core i3-530/540 = No.
Athlon X4 640/645 = your wish. better than the above option.
Core i3-2100 = best option. recommended.
