Dear all,
I am planing to get a system for me on this Diwali. please advise

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Day to day Tasks like watching movies, downloading movies 24*7. casually gaming on a 720p monitor mainly older games for now (like GTA V, COD series, up to battle field 3, or Batman series)

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:20-25k max

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Nope

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7*64

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500 GB Will don the things as i am getting one wd passport (1TB) from a friend.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No. My current monitor is 1368*720

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: monitor, speakers

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: within 2 week or so

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Nope. my friend will do it for me.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: I live in Surat, Gujarat. Buying locally if i dont get then will go to online

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:
I am planning to get I3+HD6770 DDR5 now because there is issue with AMD ASS in my area. need to visit mumbai for that so i am not thinking of FX6300 right now and of course i will sacrifice little performance but i am ok with that.

I had bad exp. with flipkart..
In pure gaming I3 and fx-6300 are almost head to head. More CPU Intensive games like BF4 or so where may FX6300 shines but in my area ASS of AMD is not that good. one of my friend burnt his hand with FX 8320 so I am not trying that.

I Have huge backlog for older
PC games so I-3+HD7750 should be more than enough for me for sometime then.but as per now i dont have budget of i5 and i dont want AMD (for My area.) otherwise i would have chosen FX-6300 for sure. I know advantages of FX-6300. , but I-3 is enough for me now .:)

^^ Bro. if possible please create seperate thread for your rig.
And i dont think that you will need that PSU for G2020..Antec bp300 psu will do the thing very well as G2020 is very efficient in terms of energy IMO.

@vijju6091 Sorry for hijacking your thread and thank you for your suggestion. My intention was not to hijack your thread rather as your requirement and my requirement are very close so thought of posting here instead of creating a separete thread with same content.

And afaik PSU should be of high quality and many people have already recommended Seasonic S12 II 430W hence I'm keen to buy that one.

You are correct that PSUs should be of high quality, but For pentium g2020 even desi PSU will work and Antec BP300P is branded and cheapest best psu there, so dont waste money on such high end(s12) psu

Bro, I have already burnt my hand with all DESI PSUs which forced me to change the CPU+MB twice and in my life I'll never ever buy DESI PSU even if I'll get it abs FREE. I want to protect my processor + MB from electrical fluctuations/surges which the desi PSUs failed my case twice.

I'll better pay little extra but I want to be free from that loss that the PSUs make to internal components of a PC. So ZERO tolerance on quality of a PSU (period)

Antec BP300p is not a desi psu and at 1.7k nothing meets its reliability.
