Buy new psu or use old psu??

i am upgrading my system by changing the processor(from p4 2.66GHz to sempron 2.8GHz), motherboard - from Intel d865gbf(LGA775 socket) to gigabyte 78lmt-s2pt(AM3 socket), and RAM (DDR3 RAM). I need to know whether i need to change the current PSU (intex Pentium 4 ATX 2.03 450W) dat i'm using. the manual of the new motherboard says it needs 500W PSU.
