1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:
a) Perform Financial modelling tasks. Would need typically 8-10 excel files open simultaneously with each having 15-20 worksheets. Apart from this would require to run some heavy files with multiple linkages/macros along with ppt, and couple of more applications.
b) Also would need capabilities to perform some video editing
c) Multiple screen options (at-least 2 preferably 3)
d) Zero gaming
e) no other functionalities like movies/songs

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:
Would like to stick to 60K (including 2 monitors & Windows license). If price/functionality ratio really justify then can extend it by another 10k.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Nopes

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 10 (need to buy a original licensed copy), price to be included in my budget

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:
Yes, thinking of buying LG 25UM65 - 63.5 cm (25) Ultrawide Full HD IPS Display Monitor at around 15.5k or two 19-21 monitors. Need suggestions

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Need to buy everything

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Next 15 days

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Delhi, so Nehru Place. Open to online purchase.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Is it possible to have this in small form factor or mini tower. If yes, then I would prefer that.

Heavy excel work, video editing, windows license, dual monitor all in 60k is not possible. You have to relax some of your criteria.
Video editing and heavy excel work could use an i7.
Dedicated graphic and 16gb RAM is useful for video editing/rendering.

- If possible go for i7, if not don't go below i5.
- For now buy one 21.5" monitor and buy one later when you have money.
- For now go for one 8gig stick and add one later if you needed.

Thanks nac. What if I drop the requirement for video editing. How would the config look like and would it fit in my budget.

Cheers
