Hi,
I am looking to build a PC for a School student in 8th standard.

I am not in India and am really have no idea about the prices and availability. Please help me build a rig so that I can arrange someone to assemble it.

On top of my mind, I was thinking of having a i3/i5 rig with 8 gb of Ram.

budget around 30k.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: School Student training mostly word document and preparing presentation or just to learn computer in itself.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 35k +/-

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: NOPE

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 10

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1tb, but am flexible

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Want to buy everything, have an old monitor but am not sure if that works

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: ASAP. Within next 15 days

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Will search for an assembler as I am in US and the computer is for my niece in Jaipur, India. Personally, I have done a lot of assembling myself.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: I can but Online or can get the stuff from local shop in Jaipur

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Thanks for reading and helping

Budget -34.3K

Intel Pentium G4560 -4500,
MSI H110M Pro VD -4500,
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2400Mhz DDR4 -4500,
Corsair SPEC-01 -3500,
Antec VP550P -4000,
WD Caviar 1TB Blue (WD10EZEX) 7200RPM -3500,
LG 22MP68VQ 22" LED IPS -9000,
Logitech MK200 -800.
TOTAL -34,3000.

If you go with H110 chipset you need to update the bios to the latest in order to accommodate Pentium G4560.
If the motherboard gets with updated bios then no worries at all.

Does it make sense to spend 7500 on just the cabinet and PSU.

Cabinet is your call at this budget and config but PSU - definitely a good and reputed one at all cost!

Doesn't matter how low you spend on the cabinet, try to get one with 2 front panel USB 3.0 and routing holes for cable management. As for PSU, it is responsible for converting AC voltage to DC and delivering it to the hardware components. If you cheap out on that and buy a crap local one, you might end up frying your complete system.
