BSOD at XP Shutdown .....

I have using WinXP SP2 on an AMD K6-2 @ 350 Mhz, 128 MB Ram, SiS6215c PCI Graphics Accelerator for the past 5 months. Recently, whenever I shutdown or restart XP, everything works fine until I get the following BSOD :

I am forced to reset to restart or press the Shutdown button to shutdown my PC.

seems like a driver clash

first of all check whether you have enough free space on HDD. If there is enough space then propably you have faulty drivers or need to adjust the BIOS.

boot in the safe mode by pressing F8 on restarting. In safe mode,,, go to control panel>system>device manager. If there are clashing drivers, generally shown by then uninstall those drivers and install them again.

If this doesn't solve your problem then when you restart your computer press
"del" In the BIOS "load optimal performance settings", and then save and exit.
