The scheme is applicable to all internet dialup users (BSNL /Non BSNL ISPs).

The scheme is applicable to BSNL landline users only.

The security deposit for CPE will be taken as per Plan 250 i.e. the customer may opt either to purchase the CPE or to pay the rent with appropriate security deposit.

The security deposit is refundable after the use of 2 months in case the customer does not want to continue with broadband.

The maximum free download allowed is 400mb as it is provided in Plan 250.

No registration charges, no installation charges and no monthly rental (for two months) are to be levied.

This scheme is valid from 25th October 2005 to 25th December 2005.

Hmmm... interestingly, i got my connection in mid september and i didnt have to pay anything but the cost of the modem...
so registration, installation and security things were not there for me...

all the things are good... but the only thing that sucks is the 400 mb limit..

brodband for me means... dloding of full games , movies and GBs of soft from P2P file sharing networks..

anyways .. a good move.
