Is there any official or unofficial patch which allows Brian lara Cricket
2000 to be played on computers with winxp

You mean BLC 99.I don't think so.
BLIC 2005 is released.Most on them will not be bothered about the 99 version(which is 6 years old).

Contact Codemasters for it. They have an unofficial patch. Even I downloaded that from the given website. If you still find problems then read their complete e-mail and follow the tips and game can be played in XP.

Otherwise wait for BLC 2005.
