Call Centre are of two types.
1)Inbound: In an inbound Call Centers the agents ( People trained to take or make calls on the phone)take inbound calls from customers and satisfy their query.
These are mostly support related calls.
2)OutBound: In an outbound Call center the agents make calls and sell various products on the telephone.The selling products mostly are, Travel Plans,Computers,Mobile packages,Pharmacy,Bank Credit Cards and loans,Mortgages etc,
These are also called as tele-marketing calls.
The Call Centre can be a Domestic or an International .In Domestic Call Centre the support or the telemarketing is done locally for Indian (Or Local Country)Companies.
In International its mostly,US,UK Australia and then others.Voice Accent training is usually required to be taken for agents here.
Call Centre is a big part of the BPO industry and a good money earner.
