Bluetooth USB dongle

I have brought Bluetooth USB dongle to connect my phone to the computer.

But i am unable to do so

When i insert the Bluetooth USB dongle in the usb drive i get a message that the
usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognise it.

the specifications of Bluetooth USB dongle are
*Bluetooth V2.0 compliant
*USb V2.0 Compliant

Bluetooth USB dongle is also with a cd
But installing it does not solve the problem

Please tell me what to do as early as possible

Open the device Manager and select and uninstall all the USB Root Hubs. Restart the computer and it will get automatically reinstalled.

Make sure that you have uninstalled the BT Drivers and then connect the BT Dongle. Viola... U are good to go.

Do a clean Uninstall of the bluetooth drivers, Reboot and scan the registry with a registry cleaner. Now install the the drivers from your mini-cd which have got with the dongle. You are ready to go...
