Right off the assembly line
Any bluetooth headset of nokia will work with Xperia U. I do the same thing with my Xperia. Though the headset that I use is a bit out of ur budget it cost me nearly, 2800 Rs. an year ago.
I bought it for my Nokia N8 but it works fine with Xperia U.
It is Nokia BH-111.
So,my suggestion is try any random Nokia headset as they might work with Xperia.
