The Motherboard Asus K8V-MX.
Processor AMD Athlon/Sempron 2500+.
After power on it says "The bios can't recognise the CPU, Press F1 to continue". After pressing F1 the system runs fine.
I had faced similar problem while putting an AMD Sempron
2500+ (marked as 64 bit) to Asus K8S-MX board. In that case it was worst condition- the sytem was just halting. The vendor updated the BIOS with a copy he already had & everything became fine.
Now where can I find the BIOS update for Asus K8V-MX ?
