biiig sound related prob!!

hey every1!!
am hving a peculiar prob!!
the thing is everytime i restart my comp,for the first 10-15 mins i can play any sound any mp3 file etc,but aft that suddenly ven i try to play any file i get a msg like "no sound and mixer devices installed...." ,this happens every time!!
i even tried installing my old sound drivers!! but still the prob prevails!!
i hv realtek high definition audio!!
plz help!!

I too have a realtek and have done what Kenshin has done, but it still happened I had to end up playing with the registry. So let me know if the uninstall/reinstall worked...(if you want to play around in the reg)
