BFG 8800GT Query

Hi Guys,

One of my friend gave me his spare BFG 8800GT GFX card for me to test.

My config is given below.

Intel Corei5 2400
G.Skill 4GB RAM
Intel DH67BL Mobo
SAGA II 500W SMPS.

Is my SMPS sufficient? I want to know the power consumption of the card is , as well as games which it can run.

I usually keep the PC on 24/7 , so I am concerned about the power consumption.

BTW I am planing to buy a AMD Radeon 6850 Card next month.

EDIT: I installed the graphics card and the display is showing diagonal horizontal lines right from the bios. doing trouble shooting right now.

This card is hotter than my microwave oven!!! reaching 100+ deg on load, and couple of crashes later.. I decided not to use this card!! giving the card back to my friend on monday.. and next sat im buying 6850!! will post it in separate thread.
