Best speakers/mem card for <1.5K

my speakers just got fried...had a heart attack or smthng...coz dey were fine in d nite...and gone d next mornin
i am lookin for d cheapest but best quality speakers for <1.5K...a headphone along with, wud be appreciated...dey shud be 2.1 wid good bass...mostly to be used for music

also i had anoder quesn...i want a 512MB/1GB/2GB sony duo pro card for my w700i...how much is it gonna cost me...example, sandisk ones??

I bought 1GB stick (a pro duo one from SONY) without warranty for 1800/- for my w700i. 512MB costs 900~1000. But 2 GB is hard to get nd would costs 4k or more. I sugest go for 1 GB.
U can opt for a Logitech M50 speakers which is a decent 2.1 nd is way better than Inspire 2.1 nd looks good too.

or Creative Inspire 2.1

I w'd suggest Creative 2.1 Speakers which i m using currently. It has good bass and sound clarity is simply superb. The cost is around 1300/- and the latest update is that.. It has got FM Radio toooo...

n reg the second qn, it seems aravind is right... 1 month bfore.. wen i enquired, 1 GB costed 2000 rs. with bill. might be it is around 1700-1800 by now..

i wud also suggest creative speakers or extend ur budget just 1k more and u can get logitech X-230 its bass and clarity is very good
