Best motherboard with Onboard graphics

Hi am buying a AMD 64 2800, need to know which is the best motherboad with onboard graphics. I know ASUS would be the best with AMD but they do not have an onboard card.

u r better off with even a Base model Gfx card such as the FX5200,instead of relying on the Onboard Video... In fact,none of the AMD Athlon64 Mobo hav even a half-decent Onboard Vid soln....
A FX5200 shud cost u nearly 2.5-3k i guess...

Wat about p4

What about going in for a p4 instead, do any of the intel motherboards have onboard graphics

There are motherboards with onboard graphics for both P4 and AMD 64 CPUs. The problem is that there are still no mobos with GOOD onboard gfx for these.

In contrast, Athlon XPs have nForce 2 mobos with GeForce 4 MX onboard gfx which is good enough for the casual gamer or for a gaming enthusiast who is still saving up for a good gfx card.

If U r considering for AMD64 U "ll hav to go 4 a discrete GFX card as there is no good mobo with onboard video controller which has features even half of nForce3 250GB/Ultra or VIA K8T800/pro. So dont waste ur money in a mobo that has got onboard video. going 4 socket 764 doesn't makes lots of sense. consider a ATHLON64 3000+ 4 socket 939.

For intel ASUS has a nice mobo with all overclocking options, 8 channel HD sound, PCI-E, DDR2 and DDR as well. Did I said it has got an onboard video as well. it is based on 915G.
