I presume that XFX are best ATI cards as it is the seems to be the brand of choice from the experts. Its provides best Warranty out their and best customer support and best quality build cards.

How much will XFX HD 4890 will cost in Delhi, nehru Place? Apart from stupid computer empire, can you guys suggest me some other wholesale dealers as well who can provide this card on reasonable rate??

Thanks in Advance

Depends how you define BEST. If you think most expensive = BEST, then yes XFX would be the best. XFX used to make really expensive nVidia cards, now they have jumped on the ATI bandwagon...

Comparing GPU OEMs...rank them in this order.

1. Price of the model.
2. Bundle in box.
3. Cooling solution.
4. Availability of Service in your area/region.

Just pick the cheapest one available. Since the core die is ATI, and that is what matters.

You can check out SMC at Nehru place. Compare his price to Lynx.com and go for the cheaper. Shop is on the 2nd floor, right hand side (Paras side entry)

Though would suggest:
Wait a few weeks, the 5xxx series are going to come India's way.

Did you open xfx card's before? XFX following cost cutting in the wrong places when they use inferior quality TIM on cards like gtx 260 core 216 viz usually used in low profile cards. I changed this TIM to as5 and I saw a good 10 degrees drop on load. This wasn't the case with palit and sapphire cards that I have fiddled around with- even on reference models and low profile cards. I am not sure about other companies so others will talk about it.
As far as ati cards are concerned, sapphire gets a thumbs up. They give pretty good bundle and have decent (over here- its considered AWESOME :p) rma policy. They also consider RMA for cards bought from other countries, but you will need to show the email printout from sapphire authorizing the RMA and the bill from the store its bought from. Before someone gives the usual "Hey dude this is India!!" B.S., Aditya infotech does give provision for RMA of internationally bought sapphire cards. Beat that xfx  (handled by Rashi, is it?)

Yes. But I think 5870 will be really expensive. Right now it price is 369 USD in NewEgg, more than twice the cost of 4890

sad.....to see things like this happening. A GPU OEM should not compromise on TIM..

I don't know. I just read that it provides transferrable lifetime warranty out their (if registered within 30 days of purchase) and best customer support and best quality build cards.

People told me that Sapphire is, that it has horrified CSR's is it true? I was always postive about Sapphire and ASUS.

Anyways I am open to Sapphire, ASUS and Visiontex.

Asus>MSI>Sapphire. XFX do have some heating issues. But Asus one's are the best. Rarely available in India and damn expensive!

Never heard anything- but a possibility always exists. I think rather than asking about the service about the companies, services provided by the distributors need to be questioned more. All have become strict since there has been an increase in dead hardware components because of the psu and cooling. Inconvinient for people who know how to use their hardware, but its because of people who are stubborn to do the simple basics and failing to do research despite being educated.

Right, but the new cards should hopefully drive down the current cards prices. I delayed my build by a few months because of this.

Wow!!!!! not bad. I hope by december the price of 5870 goes around 15K I will go for it instead of 4890. Recent reviews has shown that it has outperformed GTX 295 as well as HD 4970X2. 4890 has sruggled to meet 60% perfomance of 5870. This is going to be a great card, its power consumption is less than 4890, so it will remain slient
