Back to school!!
G2 is best among all the models you'd specified, I'd say go for it. Do get the D802T i.e the 4G edition. Other option for you is HTC m8 but you'd listed them out.

My suggestion is G2, is satisfies all your requirements, specially the rare ones like opticalimage stabilization and screen size.

This is a bad time for buying a next gen mobile. When Nexus 6 is about to get launched in about 1.5 months.
Only if you can wait though, that I would suggest to get N6.

If you want OIS then you will have to stick with LG, so G3 I suppose. Or maybe G2. I know G3 has OIS but no idea about G2.

Wow. Thanks all for your responses guys.

I've no problem in waiting a bit more for nexus 6 then, but have a few queries.
a) What is the approx cost when it is released.
b) Also will it have expandable storage or limited one like the current nexus 5.

As for G2, the spec looks great. But I've heard that the UI and the buttons are tricky to get used to. Any thoughts about its usage?

My friends most of them suggesting me to go for either xperia z1 or z2.

a) The cost would be more and less or around current price of N5 32 GB model.
b) Guessing from all other Nexus released prior, this would also be having non expandable storage. But it doesn't matter if it have 32 GB of space and support OTG right?
If it does, you better get HTC E8.

I think Xperia is out of the league. They are only recommended by Sony fans. No offense to actual Sony phone users. :p

$500 unlocked, I guess it would cost around 28k.

Well, since you don't seem to be interested in a development friendly phone and Custom ROM, or into best looks like HTC One, or Ubuntu Touch or getting latest Android updates first, I guess what you choose is Ok.

I would have chosen HTC One M8 which also have Infrared (for using as a Remote), seemed to have better 4G support, and also much cooler than Xperia Z2. But that's just me.

Camera and battery seems to be way better in Xperia Z2 than HTC One M8 though. I guess those were more important for you than looks!

Congrats for new phone.
