I didn't find such a mobo at Lamington Road, Mumbai. In 845 chipset based mobos only 2 - HIS and MSI could be found and a couple of unheard of brands here and there at a few shops. No ASUS boards in 478 pin.
If anyone knows any shop in Mumbai where it's possible to get the board you'll have mentioned please give it's name and address.

Right off the assembly line
The thing is there are two many boards on Gigabyte, Asus etc. Websites that are not available in the market. Ven i was huntig for the x300 chipset, and i even called asus and they said they have no more of 478pin mobo's :(

If you are lucky you will get an 865 based board. Otherwise, you will have to settle for 845. Those are the your only choices. If you go in the market, you will at max have the luxury of a couple of manufacturers to choose from for these. If theres just one, the decision would be simpler. So, I think you should stop searching for other alternatives. May be, think of an upgrade altogether.

thanks for your suggestion..I think the Asus P4RD1-MX would have been a great choice but it is not available in the world I mean they have stppoed manufacturing these boards.
