Now if you want to enjoy Battlefield 2 more exclusively then you have to just download a mod 2.2 (US Intervation) of that game and you will get a new map amd a lot of things.

One of the biggest collections of maps and mods can be found at SWBF2 FileFront (Star Wars Battlefront 2 Mods, Star Wars Battlefront 2 Maps, Star Wars Battlefront 2 Downloads). There you can find tons of new maps, side mods, and tons more.
One of the best mods, The Conversion Pack (Star Wars Battlefront Conversion Pack 2.0 Mod Download, Star Wars Battlefront 2 Mods) adds so much to the game, it's nearly a whole new game.

I definitely recommend it.
You've played the mods, but you want to make them. What you need is the SWBF2 Mod Tools (Star Wars Battlefront II Mod Tools (PC) Download, Star Wars Battlefront 2 Other). They give you everything you need to make new maps, units, or whetever you want to do.
The biggest SWBF2 general and modding community is by far GameToast (Gametoast.com). They've got great tutorials to figure out modding, or if you're there to just talk about the game.
