Battery problem on s2 as wel ICS Query

Hey guys my 2weeks old galaxy s2 gives me maximum 1 day battery usage and not more than 10hrs for heavy use like Internet music apps videos.
Is this a problem?
What can I do about?
Also is the official ICS update available in India?
I don't want to risk scratches by going to service centre..
Please help

ICS is slowly being rolled across countries. Don't know when it would come for Indian users.

I have installed lot of apps. Is der any way i can back it up and reload on ICS
