Hello All

Well am planning to change my hard-drive but the problem is i don't want to take the headache of reinstalling OS and Others applications in my new hard-drive.

Is there any way i can create a image of my C: Drive and restore it in my new hard-drive?

Please help me out with this :))

Will be looking forward to the responses

Thanks and Regards

u can try is by using norton anivirus package
I think that u are talking about Norton Ghost ? ;-)

There are also Acronis TrueImage for the purpose. I think it can make a image of the OS partition and then u can transfer it to the new one. But I think there will be some hardware incompatibility on the new HDD.

u can also use windows own backup utility for ur windows only....i have tried and it worked fine for me..
and while chosing options in backup dont forget to tick last option of system state...
and choose all windows folders in ur system drive..well u can save space by uninstalling heavy games..
