lately my system has become kinda slow and when I opened the Task Manager, the culprit was ashServ.exe Knew it as soon as saw it that it was Avast's main service but why the heck 30-45% of Processor usage at any given time? Moreover sometimes the the TeaTimer(Spybot S&D) too starts taking up upto 50% of Processor usage. What could be the problem. i have set the security level of Avast to high since my fresh install(3 months ago) but facing this trouble since last Thursday. Anybody gotta clue to what's going on down here? BTW I also here a lot of HDD activity even on opening a single folder or sometimes just on My Computer too. *s269.photobucket.com/albums/jj44/visio159/Unismilies/75.png

Well I reverted the security level of Avast to Medium and things are all cool but now it has made me skeptical that it has left me wide open to Trojan attacks and other malware.
