first of all, try to create a folder named autorun.inf in every drive. For this delete the autorun.inf file and immediately create a new folder with that name. If you are not fast enough, the file will reappear. So you can create a batch file. For this open notepad type
del /f autorun.inf
md autorun.inf

save this as xyz.bat. now copy this into the drive and double click on it. I this succeeds, it will be easier for you to remove the virus.

After this, remove any unwanted and suspicious startup entries or boot into safe mode. Now open task manager and stop any suspicious Process. to know what a process is you can got to www.processlibrary.com
install prio and stop any services related to any process which are suspicious. prio enables you to go to an associated service by right clicking on the process in task manager. In case task manager is not opening, you can download yet another process manager to do the same thing.
Finally, download the trial version of ESET NOD32 antivirus and scan your computer.

get ubuntu and run it live and shift delete the file ^^

this will be damn difficult coz there will a newfolder in every folder accessed so...
my suggestion Install Avast in safe mode ..Boot time scan the System..
then Run hijack this remove suspicious file's..
also run SDfix once in safe mode ..
this will surely solve ur problem

does trial version of kaspersky removes it ??

yes it does. newfolder.exe can be removed even by Avast home edition 4.8/ 5 or AVG free 9 . just scan the drives that contain the file. I would prefer Clam AV for the job.

NSIS Application Error .... what is it??

NSIS app error come when the installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. it may be due to a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus.

best way to do all this is to get an emergency cd, from a good antivirus. boot your computer through this cd, it will scan everything. otherwise download a good av, install it and update it. go in safe mode. and scan ur computer.
alternatively, install a linux, download avast antivirus for linux. then install it, update it. and from linux run a scan.
or just pull out your hard drive. and go to ur frnds home. who has a good updated antivirus. run a scan of ur hdd through his machine by connecting your hdd as slave.
there many possibilities choose the best one....;)

In the worst possible case just format your system completely. Note here dont go for Quick Format, if you do the virus surfaces again. Go for Full Format, this should wipe out all the data remains on your hard drive. Now install a fresh new operating system. Note here dont copy old files into this fresh new system, the virus might be spread through out you data. So keep you old data off from your system.

I have run through same problem once.

No need to format the whole system for this virus :D.It can be deleted using almost any AV program(updated). System format is never a choice unless you dont know what exactly you need to do to rescue your system. After removing this, get a good firewall also. It will save your system from unwanted intrusions.

U can try Avira as it protect the computer to run autorun.inf file

best option is to use linux. u will never face any autorun or any virus problem in linux. just give it a try dude!!!

viruses are not made for linux. they are build for windows. acc to reports, there are hardly 30-40 viruses till date for linux so it is really safe to use.

Uninstall McAfee... install Avast 5 free edition and run a boot time scan... it will take care of all the existing viruses...
To prevent spread of viruses also install and run Panda USB and AutoRun vaccine from *research.pandasecurity.com/panda-usb-and-autorun-vaccine/
