automatic redialling in mobile

whenever we opt for autometic redialling, the consecutive redialling takes more and more time and the last ie 10th will get us to sleep (I use nokia phone) can anyone tell me why is it so? is there any way out?

go for manual redial!!!

frankly speaking its just a natural thing nokia have opted for...
after every try if the user is still busy,the waits get longer... so that atleast after 2/3 tries u'll find an empty line...

but even if the recieving end is not busy,the time taken
increases(i have tried it out)

dude....the phone is just using a probability to give u a better chance of you getting through...it does not check to see if the line is free or engaged before it redials or anything.
