Audio become slow...

Hi guys,
When I read the data from my Sony DVD R/W, the audio becoming slow. I'm unable to listen songs. Is anybody knows what is the problem??

Me too having same problem. Enabled DMA too, but doesnt helps. Sometimes when moving data from one drive to another or network drive, winamp keeps on repeating small clip of the song or plays the song very slowly.

what kinda os are u using (98/me/2000/XP/2003)
any ways to solve this probs. (for intel users)
UPDATE DRIVERS (based on your chipsets)
install inf's UPDATE and install intel app. accelerator

my friend faced the same problem.This thing happens when u install the sound drivers before installing the chipset drivers.try uninstalling the drivers and install the drivers in the order above mentioned.

Win 98 is slow & Win XP is fast, so can be a o/s prob.

Check the IDE cable. Don't use same IDE cable for Optical Drive and HDD.

Less RAM can also results such prob, if so increase ur RAM.

Updating audio drivers can solve prob.
