But you can't keep losing all your data and settings every four months. You will have to buy (pirate) it eventually.

Loose your data!!!! I don't know of any OS for which this case is true. And 4 month trial is awesome, enough time to know the new OS for people who intend to use it.

One more question. Is the Release to Manufacturers (RTM) one the same as the Vista released two days back?
