HI i am from delhi

i wanted to know if asus botherboard "A8N-SLI Deluxe" is avalible in india . if yes then how much is it for? and also i wanted to know the price of AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Socket 939) and from where can i get it ?




IS amd better than INTEL ?

Yes the AMD SLi board it available in India for aroun d 13k. The AMD 64 3000+ is around 7.5k

they offered me 10.9k though that may be without the fan of asus

why not condier asus a8n-e?

NOW i am thinking to go for orignal intel's m other board
do you know how much v ram does intel mother boards give? 915 series

for most games alteast,amd is the way to go

few days ago i bought asus a8n-e
,ask others but performance,stability,oc shd be fine.

These ar today's price in Pune.

Asus K8S + AMD 64 bit 2800 = 8500/-
Asus A8V Deluxe + AMD 3200 64 bit 939 Socket = 18500/-

Might be more cheaper elsewhere.

Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe is widely available in india. it shud cost u around 11-12k. It is a good board if you want a SLi solution but then nothing beats the MSI Diamond SLI board ... it shoud cost around 14-15k (not sure).

If you dont plan to use SLI then Asus A8N-E is very good but SLI will be useful later.

AMD Athlon 64 bit 3000+ (939 pin) costs around 7500/- and 3200+ shud be around 9200/-.

AMD is better than Intel in gaming but i think games also heavily depend on your grafix card, ram, motherboard,etc. Buy either Intel or amd but make sure you have a powerful card and a stable perfoming mobo with plenty of ram ... thats all u need to play games i suppose. and ya dont forget the heat :lol:

go for nvidia chipset in mobo.
asus a8n-e you might find for 8100
amd 3200 winnie shd be abt 9500 but i bought for 9250

asus a8n sli dlx wa offered to me for 10900 but in a mag(not digit) i think in doom3 even gigabyte mobo performed better

also,why would you take sli
when next gens come out just go for them rather than putting another old gen
