I WANT MORE FPS!!
What do you want to do with your PC. Such high end PC is built for gaming. But Rs 30k for mobo and processor combo and only 10k for graphics card and TWO!! LAN cards is like bottlenecking your PC.
Can't help you if you dont provide what you are planning to use your PC for.

whatever I typed just got cleared..... damn computer... it hanged in between.
Just simple thing my father has given me 60k to spend either on bike or on computer.

Lets first decide a good combination of processor and motherboard for Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 30,000. Rest of the things we will dedcide later.

hmmm.. Lemme suggest u one...

U dun need 30k which u're over spendin, worth no use... 20k-23k's decent enuf...

ASUS P5B-Deluxe/Wi-Fi- Rs. 11000
C2D6700- Rs. 15000 (Not sure; changes frm place to place)

Since u wanted an external coolin, its wise if u go fer d Ultra-120... Tho u need to attach an xtra 120mm fan.. Go fer an Antec blue LED- 120mm fan, (Since its Intel!!! :p)
Its got a good speed albeit noise's a li'l high compared to coolermaster ones...

O'clock d proccy n u've a good machine in hand....

Choose a cabinet frm zebronics.. Dunno any specific model...

And a coolermaste igreen600W PSU fer some 4k.... Powersafe 600W which I've is a good one I'd bot last yr... Fetched 5k but shud be cheaper now... Lots of connectors.. PCI-E conn.. 22A on 12V rails... 2 90mm fans... Sleeved cables...

No gfx card huh???

for such high config I thought onboard graphics would be good enough.
But u may suggest a good one, since above two total out to be just 25k.

about the processor C2D6700 explain a little bit and would it prove to be a powerhorse for my dream machine in 60k.

Here are few components I have decided

1) Graphics card

GeForce 8600GT Rs 16,000 or XFX 8600GTS Rs 8,5000

Want to know the price of gigabyte GA 965G DS 3 ?
Which one will be a good choice in terms of price first then performance?

2) Processor

core 2 Duo E6300 Rs 9,000 I'm ready to spend few bugs more to get a good one .

3) Motherboard

FOXCONN 975X7 AB 8EKRS2H Rs 10,750

4) HDD
Western Digital CAVIAR SE16 WD,...(one which was reviewed this month)
Rs. 4,500

5) RAM ...6) Cabinet...7) Powersupply /..etc yet to be decided

Nvidia 8800 series graphics card needs lot of space. so make sure u choose the right cabinet. i have bought a LBX-01-BBB cabinet. its looks r moderate but its a large cabinet n can easily fit Nvidia 8800 cards or ATI 2900 cards.

Dood...

Firstly is dat an 8600Gt fer 16k and a GTS fer 8500??? ( Actually 85000!!! :D)

Mus be 8800GTS 320... But tat shud be around 18k....

Gettin an Alienware'll be fine as long as u suffer frm any problems with dat comp... U'll hav to mail d stuff bak to US if any part needs replacement..
Dats not a wise option..

U looked d likes of the Alien cabby, understood but dat doesn mean u'll hav to order those... And did u forget d shippin charges of d thing?? Mus be somethin close to 6-7k...

Get an E6600 + Asus P5B Deluxe IMO. Should be around 22k. And also buy good quality RAM, not the cheap Value stuff. Good RAM can do wonders for the system.

As for Alienware, not really mate. Don't think it's officially available here. Would cost you a lot to ship the whole system in India. Get a good Antec cabinet, like Super Lanboy, or a Cooler Master Stacker 830. Both have nice looks.

if u r not too bend upon looks, LBX case would be the best. it would cost u 4K+shipping incase u r not from mumbai. for RAM go for corsair or if u don't have problem with a used one, kniwor is selling his OCZ RAMs(excellent quality) here is the link.

newegg's prices are very competitive. i wish they shipped to india as well:) but they don't:(. as for graphics cards u can get it shipped but the custom duty is very high. u end up paying almost same minus the warranty:mad:
