Are these temps normal???

are these idle temps normal. do i hae to install extra fans?

currently i have the intel stock HSF and no other cooling fans for the cabinet.

^^Way too high. Apply some arctic silver and reseat the HSF. You should be getting 45-50 idle and 60 load.

Disable the Intel Precision Cooling option from d BIOs.Dat ought to reduce the temps by 5 - 7 C.

Man u got a C2D go out & buy some fans & b4 deciding on it check out whether u meet its requirements

i reseated the HSF and the temps decreased considerably.

Temperatures:
Motherboard 43 °C (109 °F)
CPU 41 °C (106 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #1 46 °C (115 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #2 48 °C (118 °F)
Temperature #2 41 °C (106 °F)
Temperature #3 48 °C (118 °F)
Temperature #4 47 °C (117 °F)
Seagate ST3320620AS 40 °C (104 °F)


Thank you guys. Anyway ill going to add one or two fans.
