guys please help me as i have just switched to mtnl triband(adsl) 256kbps.speed.(where an auxillary phone line is connected to the external modem).initially it worked well but after two to three days it began showing fluctuations in speed.sometimes it becomes very slow and sometimes it behaves normal.initially i could hear the dial tone of the phone.but now there is no dial tone in the phone.(but still the net is working)
earlier i could play online games like gta sanandreas multiplayer smoothly.but now after 2-3mins i get a message in the game that the connection to the server is lost.even though the ping rate(it shows)is 170-200.

well what is the problem then.please do reply.

check the telephone line right from the WALL SOURCE, then the splitter for cuts or loose joints...if nothings wrong...call Customer Service.......somthing could be wrong with ur telephone line.
