apps vanishing on my o1. help!

im using my o1 for 2 months. stock rom, unrooted.
all was fine until a few days ago i discovered battery hogging apps like "maps" running in background even after killing all apps with android assisstant. whatever i do, upon opening manage applications->running i always find apps running.
another big trouble is upon restarts applications are vanishing!! once one vanished app came back again on restart but that was just one incident. what could be happening??

Well, download Advanced Task Killer for killing apps.

No idea about apps getting vanished.

its not battery hogging as you think..which tool you used and came to this conclusion ?

First of all, don't use task killers. They increase memory usage. To free memory and close unnecessary apps, use cold boot apps like "Fast Boot".

Also, vanishing apps could mean SD card unmounting or unreadable. Update O1 ROM from LG Service center. Newer ROMs have fixed that issue...

To make full use of your phone, custom ROMs are necessary. LG's implementation of Android sucks. I am on Cyanogenmod 7 MikOS 6.5.4... The phone is super fast and battery is awesome...
