Apple Ipad - Air - Should i wait for new release ?

Hi,
My friend in Japan got some reward points to spend (50k). So planning to get a ipad Air.
Is there any new refresh coming up in the ipad Air line up ?

Is it worth to go for the ipad Air with Cellular connectivity.
I own a Nexus 7C tab and i know it is pretty worth the price.
I want to feel the iOS platform. But pretty new to it.
Which one should i go for ? ipad Air/ ipad with Retina display or I have to wait ?

Used both ios is a great user interface when comes to tablet. They have a dedicated section for their table apps. But still I have to revert back to Nexus 7 coz of customisations available in that.

Yeah. I know the level of customization that android offers.. Still i want to have a iOS device. :)

Well anything from a Nexus will seem like an upgrade to be honest. But why iPad? You want a real tab? Go Surface!
