Apple has known for giving great designs for users while compromising the hardware capability. But Apple’s hardware team has to work with the materials available to them, which ultimately means devices encased in multiple parts fitted together–typically a mix of glass, plastic, and metal housings.
Now things have gone very far away, as Apple has created, and been granted the patent for a “fused glass device housing.” In other words, Apple figured out how to encase its gadgets in pure, seamless glass.
