Apple CEO Tim Cook made a public apology for the new Maps App in iOS6.

Since the map has been built from ground up, it will take a while to integrate all the features and commitment to its customers.

As they had 1 more year contract left with Google, they should have released their own maps app with beta tag keeping the Google maps intact. Win for both sides.

Agreed, this is a late apology....but at least being a CEO of world biggest company he apologized with public and that's something which need appreciation.
