Right off the assembly line
I installed eScan Internet Security Suite on one of my computers (received a free trial ver durin their seminar). After installing the software my computer has become inaccessible on network. It is visible, but when any one tries to access it he is prompted for an admin password. There is no admin password nor any other password protection. Even searched eScan settings, but nothing helped. I even tried uninstalling the eScan but problem still persists. Is there any way to resolve this???

P.S.: It is confirmed that problem is caused by eScan.

Is actually a real word..
try clean boot. Open msconfig click services tab, put check mark in Hide all MS services, click disable all, select startup tab, disable all button as well. clcik apply then close then restart. when you get back online run www.ewido.net online scan. make log remove infections post log back here.
