i'm accesssing internet through my htc wildfire s which is connected to my laptop through internet passthrough..

the problem is that-web pages donot open up in opera but they do open in default browser..is opera unable to open pages while in this mode..is there any fix??

and i can't even download market apps while connecting like this...i can surf through the market but when i click download...nothing happens...it gets started when i connect using gprs..later.

Wow, so you're using your broadband connection to surf on your cell? like reverse tethering?

If that's what you're doing, can you please link me to a site which can help me do it? I've been searching everywhere!

Then maybe I can report to you how stuff is after I try it myself.

yes...using my broadband to surf on my cell...but there's an option to do this in gingerbread..
its called internet passthrough...i haven't tweaked anything...

and no more replies!! c'mon folks..
