Hi guys,
I'm new to android. I have some questions regarding this

1. Is enabling internet on phone is necessary to download and install android apps? Can't we download it in a PC(with internet connection) and transfer to smart phone and install ?

2. Do we have to purchase apps before downloading or they are for free?

Thanks
-Lokesh.

1. The compatibility of apps depends upon your phone model. Therefore Android Market works only through the phone. You either need an internet connection to your phone (GPRS OR 3G) or else use use Wifi.

2. If the app is free, you can download it right away. Paid apps. need to be purchased before downloading (obvious, isn't it ?).
