Android 2.3 on galaxy 3

Hi friends. I wanted to know can we install gingerbread on galaxy 3 ?If yes, then how?

Download Samsung Kies and check if a official version of Ginger Bread is out. If not you might have to root it

@OP, Galaxy 3 XDA have custom GB roms. try any of those. G3 didn't receive any official GB update.

there is only one 2.3(2.3.7) rom that is cm7 being unofficially ported is not complete
its bugged and not for normal use

Well, I used to own a Galaxy 3 in which I had installed CM7 Alpa 7. It was quite stable except the known issues mentioned. As far as I can recollect, we cannot make calls using bluetooth headsets and GPS used to take a long time to get a fix.

I suggest to give it a try. You can any time roll back to a stock ROM using ODIN.
