Is it still true that AMD Phenoms are "true" quad cores (based on monolithic multicore design) as opposed to Intels multichip design?**

Or is it a yesteryear saying? Has Intel come up with a "true" core design lately?

Agreed that Intel has the larger market share, but what about performance? Can someone post performance results for our comparison?

my current config is intel..then how can u say AMD is my favourate...

^^LOLZ. Am using AMD rig right now but am eagerly waiting for the AMD Deneb/Fusion platform.

After looking at the power of Nehalem a.k.a Core i7, I seriously doubt now if AMD can match Intel in next 5-6 years.
