Right off the assembly line
Hey All I am planning to buy a new system. My work style is 3D animations and Visual effects. I need to know whether AMD is the best or intel. If AMD, can u tell me an ideal configuration that will suit me.
I need to know what motherboard goes with athlon 64 3000 + . Please kindly guide me.

go for AMD.
1:-AMD64 3000+ (939 pin)
2:-MSI RS482M2 mobo if u r not going for a external gpu else u can go for ASUS A8NE mobo.
3:-1GB DDR 400MHz RAM kingston,transcend.
4:-6600gt leadtek,big,xfx gpu if u need.or RS482M2 has a decent onboard grapix.
5:-80/160GB SATA2 hitachi,samsung.
6:-17'' Samsung CRT monitor.

this will suffice ur need.i'll like to tellu one thin that der is already loads of threads going on related to AMD OR pentium,config related so plz from next time betta search b4 nu post.

Amd has got very GOOD graphics processing power and Pentium have got very GOOD text processing power. Hence Amd is good and a ideal solution. I too am a grahics designer and an anmimator. Also go for a 939 pin AMD 3000+ processor as it is future proof because AMDs Dual Core processor are of 939 pin and u only need a bios update to make ur computer a 64bit dual core computer!!! whereas u need to revamp ur computer in case of Pentium. Atlast but not least, AMDs solution for 64bit and Dual core is more reliable than Pentium :)
