^^I was saying that I made a jump directly from office xp to 2007 without using 2003
I am using Vista Ultimate.

You can only Download Windows Vista if you have a PAID MSDN subscription or TECHET subscription..

but illegally downloading is not good.... BE GENUIE ,, BUY GENUINE

Windows Xp starter is 1900 - 2100 depending on your city...

and Xp home is 4300/- and PRo is 5700- 6000-6300.. depending ...

me too faced a lot of probs, my pinnacle 50i tv card cudn't get installed, even my creative sb live 5.1 de sound cards didn't install. i uninstalled it a few days back, presently hapy with xp sp2. i guess some of the s/w are also not compatible.

no buddy thats not so... Even every device gets installed...

i installed Pinnacle Mce and i didnt had the drivers ... Vista searched online and installed it automatically..

Sound Blaster series the same...

and you might be using RTm or RC or BEta.... coz in FInal no compatiblity issues are there... its also possible that someone hacked onto RTm and made it look a like final ,, but there is no compatiblity support in RTm or before series...

EVEN the lowest GRADE inteX TV tuners also get installed in VISTA ... by name of PHILIPS Hybrid capture devices...

WTF I have techcom TV tuner card and it though works on vista but neither It is detected in MC nor the "line in" detected.

And everything except that got detected.

it is coz of the new series Dx10 drivers for every TV capture and SOUND CARD ... wait for another one month and you will get iot worked in MCe also

and not MC

and vimal does your TV tuner support these Specifications for MCe :
