hi iam using sony ericsson k750i i hav subscribed airtel internet now am able to surf and download the content, but when am using applications like yahoo messanger and skype(VOIP) there is a voice chatting problem occurs

I CANT ABLE TO CONNECT VOICE CHAT IN AIRTEL MOBILE OFFICE(ISP) ????

bUt it is working fine with bsnl dial up


pls help me .....

thats cause its slow, you'll face problems like
not able to upload files
not able to upload images
not able to use torrents

Airel GPRS is slow. It's speed of 8-10Kbps is just not sufficient for voice chat through yahoo or rediff. I too faced the same problem.
But a tip for you..if you have gmail account, try Google talk. I chat with my friends using Google talk. Google talk requires less internet speed. Try it and let me know it solved ur problem.

I get About 10-13 KBps( Kilo bytes per second) i.e about 80-104 kbps. Thats gud enuf for Voip. I've voice chatted many tymes on google talk and the service is uber fast w/o any lags. The connection speed also depends on your mobiles processor speed. I have a Nokia 3230.
